Not too sure this would be as beneficial for you as was me but, it's surprising.
My knees would swell, and as swelling is painful, it's the nut of the matter, pressure on the nerves. Yet mine is Rheumatoid arthritis.

Regardless I had to have my knees drained at least every 6 months, then shot up with cortisone.. I loved that stuff, [grin] too bad has to limit the times you can load up the cortisone so, Up for 6 months, maybe a year, drain, shot, down, then back on the swelling trail..

I took tons of 'Motrin' ( Ibuprofen ) to help swelling. In fact too much however still under the max, per day. my prostrate was swelling. That's not too uncomfortable, EXCEPT racing to the head at 3 AM..

Until I discovered naproxen 'Aleve's' ingredient at wally world's, Generic 200 mg pills. 1 sometimes 2 pills is better than Ibuprofen by miles! And in just a month +/- prostrate went back to normal,, YEAH!

Aside: ( already had bad gastrointestinal trouble decades before I needed Ibuprofen. I retrained my stomach, changed the times I ate, aligned with the times my mother feed me for about a year, and it seems to allowed enough time to heal and then reprogrammed it, changed the time my system would dump acid and eat me alive. Yet, I also had and still do, a permanent hiatal hernia, so, while I reprogramed acid delivery, it enabled me to take stuff that otherwise would eat me alive too.)

Regardless, long before Naproxen, while getting knees drained, I acquired an apartment building, 5 stories high. Elevator was made in 1906, but, due to age, and dumb modifications, we're talking about a lift that was NOT safe for public usage. It actually worked fine, but not automatic so, and the doors could be opened on any floor at any time. only manual operation or hire a elevator boy 24 hours a day to suite 33 apartments up to 60 feet high.

Soon as acquired, I locked those doors, the liability would be astronomical. Although, I had an employee transfer dweller's property when required, Nobody could get free 'pleasure' rides.

I had to debate as to how it could be my personal machine, without conflicts especially with kids, in this building.

As time narrowed down to make this deal, that was a serious consideration.. "How in the heck will I manage?"

Whelp this long story needs to cut to the chase.

I walked those stairs at least once every single day averaging 6-1/2 days a week. Even after I bought, 3-4 years later, a whole new fully automatic, modern elevator.

I've never needed knee injections and draining since, then 1991.

Ankles, no changes and swelled, but not enough for drainage, shoulders required infrequent boosters, but knees? even 11 years after selling it,, is GooT!

Prob helped my heart and blood pressure too because after getting use-to the exercise. .. even years later, if I hurried up,, I'll know just how good my heart is at the top. [grin]

Why only my knees? Heck if I knows, but I'll take it. [wink]
