I definitely think vegetation has been affected. My wurtz avocado starting dropping its avos much earlier than usual and they don't taste as good. My wild jungle avocado trees have started dropping much smaller fruit than usual and they also don't taste as good. Kind of watery, bland flavor compared to previous years. My orange and tangerine trees have little to no fruit.
I think some trees just took a hit harder than others, but they will bounce back now that things are back to normal. I've recently noticed that some kind of borer is infecting my avocado, lychee, lime, and soursop trees. I've never seen this in the 6+ years that I've been here. I don't know if this related or what, but I am concerned about that.
On the flip side, my pink variegated lemon tree is producing like bonkers as usual. It didn't slow down at all. And I have a tree gardenia that has produced seed pods that I've never seen before. Maybe from all the hummingbird moths that showed up this year.
