To serve and protect?
#8
The charges against Scot are a result of public outrage. at the end of the day the charges will be dropped because SCOTUS has already ruled. A peace officer can at their obligation follow a code of conduct.
The primary function of any peace officer as an employee of the state (or govt entity) is to issue citations and generate revenue. They are trained to look at every citizen as a potential criminal in said process of generating revenue.

Before 2005 I would have agreed with any of you that "the boys in blue" are there for you, but that is no longer the case. When the SHTF, dont expect the police to protect you and yours. they are under no obligation legally to do so.
