Currently, we offer technical assistance to other community and non-profit organizations on the Big Island. Technical assistance ranges from fiscal sponsorship, grant writing, database management, project management, meeting facilitation and networking for fundraising and other resources.
April 2020 - on-going: Mindful Living's role is primarily focused on database management and reporting to support AHA's goal of island-wide distribution of "Keiki Care Packages" that include foods, “fun” stuff to occupy time, recipes for parents and kids to try, and mental health support resources. From AHA: Going to school means so much to our keiki. It’s a place for socialization, structure, and extracurricular activities. Once the Hawai‘i Department of Education announced extended school closures, a hui of parents part of the Activate Hawai‘i Aid collective banded together to figure out a way to support our keiki. We wanted to do something that served their physical and emotional well-being. Hence, Keiki Care Packs was born.
Donations to be sent to (nice place right on the ocean)
