Tankless Water Heaters? Propane service?

Anyone want to offer their experiences or brand preferences for tankless water heaters? We looked at one today at Hilo Propane, a Bosch for $750. Have also seen them at Home Depot for $1200. We only have a 1-bedroom, 1-bath small house so don't need anything super-dooper. I had an Aquastar about 8 years ago and loved it, but don't know the new technology, or prices.

Also have figured out that it's best to buy one or more small tanks (hey, we don't want to haul around a 200 lb. tank...), but does anyone recommend a place to buy the smaller propane tanks? Thinking of around 30-50 lb. tanks.... any advice? Tanks.... ;>)
