There is a crucial period with mangos between flowering and fruiting when it can all go bad. You can have lots of flowers, even get the beginnings of fruit and then if it rains too much they will all blast (fall off).
We planted a variety of mango that is supposed to be less prone to this. It is flowering now, for the first time, and a few have blasted. We shall hope for the best and see what happens.
We also took a graft from a tree in the neighborhood that produces fruit regularly but it is too young for any results.
