Buzz, we have been doing business in Bali and Java for years and know about this program. It is better than nothing, but cutting down mature forests and replacing them with seedlings isn't the best approach. So much damage has been done to the rain forests. We're also concerned about the loss of farming land as more and more foreigners buy up (technically it's a leasehold arrangement) land for development on the island of spirits. I worry about what Bali will be like in a few decades.
That said, there is apparently a company based in Keaau that does Bali style homes. Here is the link (I know nothing about the company):
