We just picked our first crop of tomatoes (6) all around the size of a baseball and no bugs. I bought started plants with flowers on them already and poof we ate some of them last night. They tasted better than the ones from the Farmers Market, but I might be a bit bias, eh.
I sprayed them once a week with an organic pest spray I bought at the Garden exchange and it seemed to work. We live in Hawaiian Beaches at the 150 elevation level and about ¾ of a mile from the ocean.
I don’t know if this matters but we don’t have any, not one, mosquito either??????[

We are growing herbs and peppers also. I can’t wait for Jayne to stuff a couple of those buggers and stick them in a nice pot of Italian tomato sauce. [:0]
