I'll put in my two cents...
If you strip them within the same day you fell the tree, you can power wash it or scrape with the tip of a shovel and most of the bark comes right off... takes minutes only for each tree. If you wait the draw knife is very effective and takes maybe an hour or two. Then you let them dry for a while... weeks to months... and then you sand. It's not that bad. We did 18 of them.
YOu shoulda brought this up at Scuba Sunday! ALso, are you the ones who posted abut needing a trailer? You looking to buy one or just need to use one? Several of us have them and we try to share....
