I could think of at least one person on the forum whose knowledge is almost encyclopedic.But it is not fair to make this person(or any other one) to take responsibility.
What I am thinking( let's take the yurt example),that a regular person with the desire and ability and time to research and summarize (I would be happy to help)posts a preliminary version and asks forum if the summary correctly reflects what has been said on the topic.
Summary-is a key word.Facts-another one.
And the style should be neutral and free of any (even hints!) on someone's opinion in particular.No advice whose business to use,just "search the original thread recommendation".
So,the predrafted summary stays that way until everyone interested
in facts posted.
