Naw, Microwave ovens are just common material parts with no harmful stuff. The radioactive thing came from the original "nuking" your food sound bites.

I made a quick call to my local private solid waste contact and he said microwave ovens are 100% recyclable. They can be disassembled into plastic, glass, and metal. Nothing special to dispose of.


On that note, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Kea'au recycle center- until now! [Wink]
