thank you for your input as i have been trying to learn more about yurts as well. there are a couple here in the interior of alaska and people live in them year round. even at -45 they do well. we do have a dry climate here so i was wondering how they would do in puna's wet environment.
the more debated here the better. it good to here from all sides to get a good ideal whats the best way to go. i really think a yurt would be so cool. i see where there is one that went up by lava trees park. so someone else thinks it a good ideal
