Haena beach access or the lack of it

I hate to raise a stink or post a baited question....

But here it is and I'd like to hear as much feed back as possible. In a creative way.

but here's my BEEF.

I'm talking about Haena Beach. I know it's small and the only way to get to it is by a 4 to 5 hour round trip by WALKING from HPP.

I think that limited access should be granted by the Shipman family to local people who would like to enjoy the beach, but aren't physically up to the challenge of a 4 to 5 hour hike to get there. Or just in limited numbers until a certain cut off point.

Yeah. Vehicle access.......

If you look at Google earth you can see a ROAD all the way to the Shipman compound and the BEACH.

I realize that they don't want to be over run like Hanalei but
come on ...

There's got to be some common ground.

I'm sick of the RICH controlling everything.

If this were Maui or Oahu there would be protest demonstrations for this.
