that is very cool Kahunascott. BJ has really come a long ways both in and out of the ring. It wasn't that long ago that BJ was a total jerk. Whether he came to the decision himself or had help from his brother Reagan. BJ has made a complete 180 degree turn around.
I think he now realizes just how much influence he has within the community & the MMA world. As a champion one can become two different types. A Mike Tyson type champ where controversy follows you no matter where you go! Or he can be a humble champ like MMA great Anderson Silva. I think BJ has made his choice, and for this island and Hawaii in general. BJ made the right choice too!
The kids of Hilo & Hawaii really have a champ to look up to now with the new BJ.
