A wrestling coach you might have been Damon. But an expert on MMA you're not! Of course Kimbo isn't ready for prime time yet in the MMA world. But yesterday he answered some questions many people in the MMA world were wondering about.
Thompson had Kimbo on the ground in a classic "Ground n Pound"situation. He not only answered the critics. But I felt he was very humble in his post fight interview. My opinion of Kimbo has truly grown over the past 48 hours. No longer do I look at him as some kind of "Internet Freak", but a dude with a lot of raw talent. Hell, it wasn't that long ago that Kimbo was homeless!

But what really makes me a huge Kimbo Fan is his private life. Out side of the cage, Kimbo Slice turns into Kevin Ferguson, a family & father of six kids! That really impresses me about him. With all the fame he has had thrusted on him in recent months, it would be super easy for Ferguson to stay in his Kimbo Slice mode. But no he returns to Kevin Ferguson as soon as fight is over.
The big draw back I see for Kimbo Slice is his age. Dude is almost 35, how much longer does he have?
