Jimbo & I were precinct officials (fun way to meet your neighbors & get volunteer money to NFP's)
My precinct (DT Keaau) had almost a third of the voters show up yesterday at the polls.... But far more voted in the primary....
IN ADDITION, many had already voted absentee ballots (the article did not state whether the counts were TOTAL voter turnout, or the ones at the polls yesterday.... ) all totaled at our precinct, probably closer to 50% voted in total... so not too shabby.... but not as high as anyone would hope....
