Birdwatching

In reading the posts regarding Alaskana moving back to the mainland, I realized one group I'd like to hook up with is a birding group. I have missed it here in my current location. So does Puna have an active birding group? I enjoy getting out an looking for critters, but enjoy birds so much, I think that will meet my critter needs. Add in some whales, and fish ID, I think I can be well entertained. So any Audubon group or similar?
