Devany, they screwed up some how. I switch back and forth between MsOffice and Open Office routinely. The only issue I've ever had was opening a power point file with MsOffice that was created with Open Office, and it opened with only minor formating issues. I'm guessing they forgot to save it in a MsOffice format and sent it to you still in an Open Offfice format.
