Well said, mdd. All this talk of taxes and helping the economy keeps reminding me of the so-called stimulus, which was directed solely to gov't agencies and employees, while at the time only the private sector was getting hit hard.
Furthermore, for those of you who like to force the rest of us to give big $$ to the gov't to help the economy, the Chicago Tribune just published a revealing article on how the fed's are saying how many jobs they saved, one example . . .that they saved 467 jobs at a school that has only ever employed 290. The cases go on and on. A waste.

People need to look back to the founders of this country, and learn just what they had in mind for the function of the federal government, . . . just what made this country so great up until now, and NONE of it has any connection to what is happening now in USA.
