any TSA advice?
The new senate spending bill contains 43.5 billion for Homeland security, 1 billion more then 2010.

The bill also includes 5.6 billion for the TSA, looks like the pain will continue.

High tech Israeli security machines might be an alternative to searches and maybe even save money:

Here is some TSA advice for Hawaii travellers: carry items of value with you. Do not allow them out of your sight, even as carry-ons. This link following is one of many showing why...

reminds me of a trip through security last year

I had a pen that was a "art pen" ... looked a lot like the naked lady pens one used to see

I spent ten minutes waiting for the "security" guy playing with it to try to get clothing to "run down"

I finally handed it to him as a gift - and went on my way.....

Almost all evil deeds lead to money. Let's see what'll happen when the dollar is worth a nickel.

"BOSTON -- A former TSA employee was arraigned on child pornography charges, Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone said Thursday."

"But the Cheever case is just the tip of the iceberg. Earlier this year, former TSA agent Sean Shanahan from Boston Logan International Airport was charged with multiple sex crimes against an underage girl. And in November, Charles Henry Bennett, a former TSA screener at Orlando International Airport, was arrested and charged for molesting a 12-year-old girl and planning to make her his "sex slave"

What will it take before the masses revolt?

Revolt because 2 TSA employees out of tens of thousands were unfit? I don't think that's quite enough to take to the streets on. A TSA employee on Molokai was found to have pilfered about $18,000 in cash he knew was coming through in a suitcase. By and large they are honest and are asked to stay alert every single moment. The TSA provides good jobs in Hawaii.

Revolt because these are only a few examples of unfit people, paid to forcibly remove our constitutional rights. Getting paid to forcibly violate people's constitutional rights and freedoms are not 'good jobs' for Hawaii nor anywhere else.
