TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo
TomK, my apologies.

I don't see the link you provided me or write about. Hard to look it up if it's not provided sir. All I see from you is a TMT history link.

Seems like an astronomers dream to search and find possible life somewhere else in space.

Right now I'm imagining the first inhabited planet astronomers discover is full of people like Gypsy. What a disappointment that would be.

TomK, have you been drinking again?
first you say that you provided a link for me and now you say I provided it, make up your mind or it's just more Babbling Gibberish.

Speaking about disappointments TomK, One may be the TMT project and all the environment and cultural changes it may cause. For example: It Makes no sense to kill off the Wekiu bug population atop Mauna Kea in hopes to possibly find them or similar life on another planet we may never reach in our lifetimes.

Species go extinct every day. In fact, we are in the midst of a great die off right now. Do you really think some little bug on MK is going to save the planet? What a tool.

Never mind that I've personally corrected him twice that the TMT site will not disturb the Wekiu bug habitat.

Never mind that I've debunked his sewage/water source pollution claims.

Never mind that he won't tell us if he personally used a cess poll at home.

Never mind that I've debunked his claims about graves/ahus/etc.

Never mind that I demonstrated his video links don't prove what he claims (aka. TMT=GOD).

Never mind fact he doesn't live here anymore because of employment opportunities, something that the TMT is helping to improve because astronomy is a big part of the Big Island economy.

The real question is Why hasn't he been blocked from this site?

Eric1600, good morning, good afternoon and good evening to you.

Where are your parents and grand parents buried Eric?
Would you like it if I and a million others are allowed to Piss on their graves for now on?

Hawaiians have always known for centuries that the summit of Mauna Kea is a burial ground for their Ali'i and Kapu to commoners.

Go ahead Eric and insult the Hawaiians further by trying to buy their dignity with your man made green money. An apology, recognition, and respect of their people, Aina, traditions, culture and future may mean more to the Hawaiians than your money. It May be time to start listening to the young and old Hawaiians today, rather than continuing to hear what you want Eric.

The Kanaka, Warriors, Protectors and many others may not give up their Piko, most revered and valuable lands for the next century without a fight in both your courts and on their Mauna of peace and calm.

Eric1600, Well over 250 comments and not one of them is mine that follow this article about the Hawaiian people's argument.

Eric1600, I find it Interesting how you feel like I should be blocked from a site for writing my own opinions about an issue. Maybe you wish the Hawaiian language was still banned from their people too. Once the TMT project is complete on Hawaiian land that the University leases the TMT they too may wish to block the Hawaiian Keiki from their ancestors.

P.S. Eric1600, How are you so certain that there are no Hawaiian burials on that proposed TMT site or on the summit of Mauna kea for that matter?
Much of the Hawaiians history has been passed on or taught and learned orally. jmo's

PaulW, your out of your league here.
Again you will post your hatred towards me personally but it won't contain any substance to the real issue at hand. Go ahead and throw your usual insults anyway, I and all my Keiki will always be from the Big Island and you can't take that away from us.

You're not from here and you don't live here. Why do you think Hawaiians would want you speaking for them.
The majority of Hawaiians are in favor of the telescope, just like any rational person would be.
Go find another hobby.

ETA: Hatred? Not me. Hatred is what you have for law enforcement, apparently. I can guess why that is.

Paul, Majority??
Why would only the ones in favor of the TMT be rational in your mind?

Google hawaii poll tmt Yes, a majority. How can anyone be against a telescope with the law behind it.

Rational? Do you think disputing that Hawaii is a state nearly 60 years after a 93% vote for statehood is rational?

You're not from here and don't live here. That makes me way more Hawaiian than you are.
I don't need mainland people speaking for me. Go mow the grass.
