Today is the Hawaii caucus 6 PM, anyone can vote!

If you want to keep supporting a racist, go for it. The primaries are over, he's of no relevance to Hawaii anymore. Good riddance. -out-

Again, racist smears are the lowest form of political discourse and typical of a person who cannot argue real issues and instead wishes to distract from them. Your right that the caucus is over, Puna and the rest of the Big Island overwhelmingly voted for Ron Paul. I am proud of everyone who showed up, we had three times the expected turn out at the Pahoa Caucus, 50% of the vote went to Dr. Paul. I am very proud to live on an island full of "conspiracy nuts" that voted for Dr. Paul. A lot of people obviously realize that our Liberties are disappearing and that we are in serious danger of losing the Republic.

Aloha.

Ron Paul is fortunate to have such supporters. They don't even know what "racist smears" are (hint: it's not calling someone a racist, especially if they authorized racist newsletters for years) and they also don't know the difference between "your" and "you're". Stay in school.

Some of his best friends are black, oh yeah, heard that one before. The State of Hawaii has given the racist the bum's rush.

From Wikipedia:
The newsletters included statements such as:
"... I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in [Washington, DC] are semi-criminal or entirely criminal."[167]
"Boy, it sure burns me to have a national holiday for that pro-communist philanderer, Martin Luther King. I voted against this outrage time and time again as a Congressmen. What an infamy that Ronald Reagan approved it! We can thank him for our annual Hate Whitey Day!"[164][173]
"An ex-cop I know advises that if you have to use a gun on a youth [to defend yourself against armed robbery], you should leave the scene immediately, disposing of the wiped off gun as soon as possible.... I frankly don't know what to make of such advice, but even in my little town of Lake Jackson, Texas, I've urged everyone in my family to know how to use a gun in self defense. For the animals are coming."[164][174]
“I miss the closet. Homosexuals, not to speak of the rest of society, were far better off when social pressure forced them to hide their activities. They could also not be as promiscuous. Is it any coincidence that the AIDS epidemic developed after they came 'out of the closet,' and started hyper-promiscuous sodomy? I don't believe so, medically or morally.”[175][176]
“[Magic] Johnson may be a sports star, but he is dying [of AIDS] because he violated moral laws.”[165][177]
“[T]he criminal ‘Justice’ Department wants to force dentists to treat these Darth Vader types [people with AIDS] under the vicious Americans With Disabilities Act;" and “[W]e all have the right to discriminate, which is what freedom of association is all about, especially against killers [AIDS patients].”[165][178]
Other passages referred to former Secretary of Health & Human Services Donna Shalala as a “short lesbian” and Martin Luther King, Jr. as a pedophile and “lying socialist satyr" – while offering praise for former Ku Klux Klan Imperial Wizard David Duke and other controversial figures.[164][165][175]

When criticism of the newsletters was leveled against Paul during his 1996 congressional election, he did not deny writing the newsletters, but instead defended them and said that the material had been “taken out of context"

Cat, I'm sure you can tell the difference between:

1. A candidate who has some ignorant racist supporters

versus

2. A candidate who publishes and makes money off ignorant racist
newsletters for years and then claims, when it's convenient,
that he didn't know what was being published and sold under his name.
This makes him a racist or fraud and most likely both.

What is good about the other candidates, besides not being loud
and proud racists? Many things, but it depends on your own views
on various issues. My point of view is simply: anyone but Racist Ron.

Okay, that's really it for me. This is no longer relevant to Hawaii,
until Ron Paul goes Independent.

Kapohocat,
There is no one better. Other than Dr. Ron Paul, they're all part of the military industrial complex, profiting from murder of innocents. They are so afraid of Ron Paul exposing this truth that they would go to great lengths to black him out, spread misinformation, and engage in rampant election fraud.

"Actually, Ron Paul won Maui too, but it's not publicized...guess why???"

Because it's not really important, perhaps? Racist Ron only got 18% of the (already small) Republican vote in the state of Hawaii.

When does he go Independent, has he said? An ego that big can't be contained within one party.

ETA:
"A majority of Republicans would like to see Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul drop their bids for the presidential nomination, according to a new CNN/ORC poll.

[...] And 61% say Paul should drop out, with 36% saying that the longtime congressman from Texas should continue to campaign for the White House."

Let's see if he listens to the majority of the members of his own party, or just does what he thinks is best for himself (as usual).

I wonder if he'll "win" the Big Island if he runs as an Independent?
