There use to be a lot of dial up's BBS's on Oahu. Even a few multi line chat room style ones where we would have weekly/monthly outings.

I kinda find it interesting that...That has all gone away on Oahu. Maybe since the density of people are so close to each other people don't need these style of forums? Or it could be everyone is connected to internet (cable/DSL) on Oahu that people just use twitter and facebook these days? Where on Puna people are still without power poles and even landlines with poor reception punaweb might be the only thing keeping some together? Don't really know. But it's an interesting question why these type of forums have gone away in major cities.

"Punaweb SHOULD be on that list!"

That is a list of blogs, Punaweb isn't a blog.
Assume the best and ask questions.

I like Punaweb too for pure entertainment, but...
Facebook is the best 'blog' for Puna/World...

make 'local kine friends' network w/ your 'real neighbours' for find out all the (good underground) haps/events.... w/o all the mainland transfer paranoia or whining about the dust from the hpp roads so have for wash that new SUV daily, or cry bout people flying 2X pseudospeedlimit down Kaloli just having fun on the whooptidoos below 10th ave.... you know you all try for 'air' on that road... same with dudes that live all up in Ainaloa wooptidoo!

aloha

The way back machine is awesome. Lots of good info from people who are no longer on the punaweb.

I just want to catch a little air.
