Before any one ever goes to HD , HPM or Hosador PLEASE shop Argus.

Even if you are in town doing what evers,stop in and see what they offer,occasionally they order half container loads of #2 n #3 off grade lumber if building a shed or outdoor something where everywhere else charges you top dollar for brand new.They also have recycle redwood from the cane haul days from time to time. I love their selection of cedar.No one island wide has such quality cedar .As we know,cedar repels termites and mold n mildew and smells great .We utilize cedar in our clothing closets and office where electronics stay.

They have the only honest pressure treated lumber,not this borate crap that may or may not be treated.

I bought last year some ply from HD,They claimed it was treated,even had them state this in writing saying it was treated,only cause Argus was out.BIG mistake,had bug borers inside.Took the sheets back with receipt and they would not refund me and was only 6 days after i bought it. A $400+ ouch and loss.
I do like their plumbing selection though.
I took the 8 sheets to Habitat restore in Hilo,explained the situation and they happily took the ply .
From now on Argus it is.

Never again any big outlet for lumber,Argus every time.

I am sure Argus would love to see those plans,he may even want to copy them to incorporate into their collection of plans.Help put smile into his life and have a friend for life.
