I am more than likely alive today because I had a gun when my house was broken into in the 80's by an armed man. In today's world the perpetrator is just as likely to kill you as look at you.

It's funny how some people make assumptions without any facts. I never expressed my personal view regarding the use of guns. My intent, when I started the thread, was two fold. As some have pointed out, is that these new levels of punishment need to be told repeatedly to the population at large. It might deter some, it might not. My sarcastic subject was just that. Sarcasm. I know how stupid these criminals are, they are not informed about the new laws, and probably do not give a darn. So that's why I wrote No Guns Needed. At the end of the day we will most likely have to use one, once chaos hits, and thieves start making their rounds.

PaulW, yes I might be new here posting on Punaweb. But,I have lived here since 1998, reading Punaweb for years before I joined at the end of 2012. I have read everything about guns on here for years. Have noticed the attitudes of many, in may topics and subjects. I am not the "newbie" you think I am.
