I don't see how rain would affect hardened lava. its not like they are sandy hills

Yeah but it's not normal rain. The rain was altered by chem trails and ufo micro sprayers.

One day soon we will longingly wish for "normal weather," already a thing of the past. This is global warming related, and this is how it will affect Hawaii. If you care about the health of the planet, work for reduction of carbon emissions and reforestation.

Global warming will be solved when the global parasite known as humanity goes extinct. Only then will the planet begin to heal itself.

The planet doesn't care what the thin organic slime does on the surface.

There was a nice heavy rain in HPP this morning for a few hours, so maybe we are returning to our more "normal" rain pattern.

The whole island chain has been dry, so it couldn't be related to lava flow in Puna.
There's already been a study showing that the trades pattern has been disrupted over the last several years. When the trades break down, it gets hot and dry. I'm very glad we're finally getting rain today, although I feel for the people who had outdoor plans for the weekend, who are wishing it had rained during the work week. Kathy

Great to have some hard rain. The lightning was a real treat with some thunder that seemed to roll across the sky. Reminded me of the storm we had last year with lots of lightning. Meteorologists may want to pay attention to the next few nights as well, our atmosphere has the makings for some serious lightning. The rain bought in or down the smoke from the fires cause the air stinks today.

Yeah, I noticed the smoke much more this morning as well, which I thought was odd, since Leilani is southeast of the flow and the wind was blowing east-to-west last night during the rain. By mid-day the smell seemed to be gone, however. Well, either that or I got used to it.
