Gabbard's strange move re: public info
#11
PM2, as far as the troll thing goes, "Mr. Kettle, meet Mr. Pot." And here I go feeding you, LOL. I did not make a personal attack on anyone. I simply pointed out that a lot of people, including the moderator of this forum, have a hard time with the Democratic party in Hawaii. And FWIW I have been a registered Democrat for some time and participate in their caucuses. Do you?

Yadda Yadda. Take it away, Chunkster and kalakoa. The tired old worn out soapbox is yours.

Not trolling -- and don't care much about party politicking -- meant as a legitimate question:

Why announce a meeting to which nobody is actually invited?

An observation you may disagree with is not automatically partisan trolling. Nothing about Chunkster's post was an attack or incendiary. Hawaii is a defacto 1 party system, with a very weak second party that has a minimal voice. That creates strange bedfellows where people who are on very different parts of the political spectrum end up in the same party.

Shockwave rider, I was referring to the tendency to direct virtually any subject to the same old talking points.

So, what's the topic here again? I would hope most would find it more interesting and productive to get back to the original topic.

PM2, you are obviously very intelligent and insightful but no one here think you are qualified to be our judge. That said, why on earth do you choose to waste your abilities by inappropriately attacking people on this forum as of late? Are you having serious personal problems? Do you need help, seriously? We don't need another Pahoated.

Chucksters post was a good contribution to the conversation, was yours?

I'm so impressed with Tulsi, that if she is within the law to have a closed session, there is a reason and I give her the benefit of the doubt and my support.

Only thing she seems to do is capitalize on Hawaii island for discrete photo shoots. Not sure what is there to be impressed with, saw a lot of attention about how she decided to ditch the dull VA thing for a discrete photo shoot. And how is that VA thing all sorted out, she has nothing left to do but criticize her state and her president about not doing their jobs? Cuz'n Barry is asking Congress for a $1.8B fund to fight Zitka virus, so she might provide how much of that Hawaii might get. All you get from her is fingerpointing at her ohana, just like PW.

Geez are you two one and the same? I've heard it's very common on forums for folk to have more than one account and attempt to manipulate the conversation that way.

Back to the meeting

If you have an emergency management type meeting with the press or public there you get absolutely nothing done, because no one will say anything but the approved press release and then you spend forever answering the same spacemonkey questions over and over.

The public is not invited...this seems more of a publicity/campaign stunt than anything else. Did you not see where she has stated she would accept a vice presidency nomination?
She's in Hawaii today as one of the sponsors for the Debbie Wasserman-Schultz fundraising event in HNL....
