State income tax

You can file GET online as well. There's a bit of a bug though, in that when you file both the December G-45 and the G-49 year end reconciliation, it thinks you owe all the tax listed on the G-49 even though you've already paid it with the periodic G-45s. I don't understand why the G-49 can't be auto-generated so that you just have to enter adjustments or corrections.

I’d file online if it wasn’t for the “convenience” fee....

I did my HI income tax over a week ago. It is free, no charge. I think this is the first year that they offer free online filing.

Scroll down to N-11 form and click on e-File.

I filed both federal and state taxes e-file through Tax Act for free. They were simple returns, but didn't cost me a penny.

They did try to "upsell" a lot of extra services I didn't want, but I just kept clicking no and got to the end. Refunds were very fast too.
