Dear Michaela, just a remainder that any work in the US without work permit is illegal and subject to deportation if you travel on non-immigrant visas.
This info is from US embassy in Slovakia:

Washington -- University students from around the world can apply to work in the United States for up to four months during their summer vacation through the Summer Work/Travel Program of the U.S. State Department.

Bratislava?! Are you guessing? I would have thought she was from Russia or Ukraine and not from Slovakia.

Maybe John would have some type of work for this young couple, or have better suggestions for them of where to find hotel work for the summer! That would be my hope!! Aloha

Damn, I always open my mouth too soon!
I didn't even think about checking her profile and I was just guessing by the name. Well, at least I got the continent right!

Hey, I do all of the above! Do you need help? Since Mella won't hire me, I have to figure out a way to be there!
What do you do for accomodations?

Lucy,
Do you like the great out doors? How do you feel about sleeping under the stars? Sorry to sound so flip, but busted up rocks is about all I have on the property (oh, and a TON of trees and such). We have a ways to go yet before extra hands will be needed but I will certainly keep you in mind in the event that Mr.Only-I-can-do-it-right changes his mind! We do have a large moving truck (just ask Mella) that has a 20'x8'x8' box(?) so I suppose someone could stay in there in an emergency (if tent living isn't okay). I, however won't per the request of my mother. I wish you all the best of luck in your adventures. Aloha pj
