Retail Pahoa

If anyone knows of any commercial space in pahoa proper, let me know if you would. My family is actually very seriously excited about pizza and art. I look forward to seeing your creations and feeding you well. AHO!

The new Malama market complex has 3 or 4 brand new store spaces still not filled. Not sure how to contact them. Pahoa needs a good pizza. The one that is in town is just so-so.

Plan to be spontaneous tomorrow.

The people that run Pahoa Hardware in the Malama Market are the owners/creators of the Malama Market, so stop in there and talk to them about the available spaces.

one concept that has worked well in the bay area are laundrymat/food/art venues so it covers an array of needs....i think we personally need a cool icecream shop/smoothy place to go with that pizza!

What great ideas. We were also excited about the notion of a dessert delivery operation. If there is one thing we are always whining about is that we wish we had dessert!!

Has anybody considered a UPS Store/Mail Boxes Etc. franchise? What with the eons long waiting lists at most every USPS facility for PO boxes, it would seem to me that you'd have to beat the customers off with a stick SmileSmile

I recently spoke with the woman at the new toy store. I can't recall, but she either said a UPS store was coming in, or that it would be a great idea. I agree that would probably do very well.

I have heard a rumor that a mailbox operation of some type will be going into the old Pahoa Hardware location.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Buzz's idea sounds great for a new business. However, it might be even better to start something like that online or by mail orders to establish your brand first without paying rent on a store, then opening the store afterwards for people who would prefer to purchase baskets onsite but would already recognize your logo when they see it.
