Aloha Mella and All Punatics!! Hey we heard last night...the house is ours! We are now proud owners of a home in HSRE...and it's just what we needed and a lot of what we wanted! Our new house is on Hee off of Puna Mauka...we were lucky enough to make an offer on the car at the home and got that too!!

Okay Mella - It's been a great weeks - lots of exploring and YES - We loved Tex's Malasadas! We COULD have brought some back down, but since we were on our way to Kona...well, you KNOW they would have been STOLEN out of the car while we were at Hapuna! We couldn't risk it! (Okay so we would've pigged on them, alright?) We got the plain ones, which John Dirgo recommended and also a couple of nice local ladies waiting in line at Tex's...YUMMMY.

Thanks all for your support...we got to visit with Nancy Fryhover for a while...she's awesome and her house is so warm and wonderful. We got to see Lee & Ana's home...also very amazing there...got a great recommendation for lava rock work too for anyone needing it...contact Lee Graves.

Called Pam Lamont (who was upcountry and so we couln't get with her) and will try to touch base with Pam Jones! We are leaving tomorrow so will take lots of pix of the house...we will be back by September for GOOD!!!

Great news! Congratulations! I really enjoyed visiting with you and Tony and look forward to seeing you in September. We got to line up some murals to go paint! You two have a safe trip!

Carrie,

I waited home all morning because I thought you were going to call and come over. Sooo sorry to have missed you this trip but you be sure to contact us in September when you come back.

Aren't Nancy and John cool? And their home is so cute! They have done such a great job there.

Last but not least, congratulations on your new home. I hope you will be as happy on the Big Island as we are. It is just a wonderful place to live!

Hey carrie that is great about your house .also wanted to tell u that our house that we are trying to sell is also on Hee st but on the other side of the high way hawaiian beaches side. Big island but really small huh?so when do u guys get to move?need a bed? I have a nice king size bed.We are moving back to calif the sac area icant wait to go back .Hawaii is not for everyone to slow for me.well good luck aloha to all.

Thanks everyone! Sorry we weren't able to get with you Pam...and Pam...and Dave ...we had to meet with John Dirgo to get the papers taken care of and also went out to the house to take some pix so my mom could get a look at the house and yard.

Well - we got one real day to goof off (that was the run to Kona and back)...saddle road was interesting. I can't figure why they only pave the middle...anyone?

We are on our way back...just at the internet cafe this morning in Pahoa printing out boarding passes...will see Lee and Ana Graves again and head out to the airport...see you guys for good here before too long. I LOVE this island. So much to explore!
