Hapuna Beach Hotel
#11
there you go Laughing Girl, have fun!

btw, I've heard Hapuna rooms are going for $115 on Priceline bids. Of course Priceline are the bottom tier rooms, but being so empty they probably upgrade people.

Yikes about the Martinis, Johnnycake![:0]

When our son came for last visit he wanted to treat us to a couple nights at the Waikoloa Marriott and take in the Luau. He could get a free room using his Marriott points. Of course once he found out the price of the luau, he decided we'd have to get our own tickets LOL. Luckily, we bought them all at the kamaaina rate, which proved worth it just to see our granddaughter enjoy the show. We went to the breakfast buffet, but about choked on the price. Our son and wife opted for the buffet, no additional charge for the grandkid (2 1/2yo), Sophie and I decided just coffee would do. At one point, someone arrived and presented our granddaughter with a lovely array of fruit scuplture - very edible. When the bill arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find that the waiter didn't charge separately for our coffee - part of the buffet price and our son and DIL don't drink coffee. When we checked out, the bill for our son's "free" room was almost $200 due to the various fees and taxes.
