OK you guys, I have to ask. Why didn't you bring them? I gave a thought to selling mine, but I couldn't bear it. My bike is one of the best parts about being here.

Well, we didn't bring 'em because we wanted to get out from under the almost $35,000 we were paying on. We paid off all our credit cards, sold the bikes, paid off our timeshare, etc. The bank loved Tony for it! LOL

We can't be without bikes for too long. I need to ride on the Island. We figure until we get some we'll just rent a couple of bikes (when we DO get the chance) for a day or two and take off on 'em. Really, for what we were paying on our monthly payments it would be about the same if we rented for even 3 days each month.

Okay, now I WANT MY BIKE!!! Thanks guys.

Carolann, I get it. Fresh start. Isn't that just part of this wonderful experience? Good for you guys for doing it, and ouch for having to give up some things that you love. But since you have access, and others have rides, lets consider doing a Punaweb cruise. Could be as soft as a breakfast or as hard as a loop around the Island. What say you all?

The only thing I really regret not bringing is my Jeep. I dont know what I was thinking when I sold it, I guess I had forgotten how many cool places there are that can only be reached in a good 4x4(or a long hike with all your gear). But, just like you guys and your hogs, one of these days I'm gonna get me another one...

You're on Brad! That sounds like a great ride! The Island is so nice and big you would never feel like you were on an island for a nice dayride like that.
