Helping a new family
#11
Pam...our house in HSRE has two extra double beds (maybe twin - but I think double) that we will be parting with once we get there. It won't be until September (mid-September we think) but they are welcome to them. I'm sure they are like brand new. There are three of them in the house and we only need one for the guest room.

Aloha!

Pam Jones; sheets are the BEST and the rest works too.

CarolAnn: The beds will be Awesome. They are in the cabin now with built in bunks but will move in a month or so and will then need beds. Timing couldn't be better.

IT'S A BOY for real this time... he was born this morning at Hilo medical center. We started out with some complications but all ended up great and we have a healthy and happy mom and baby.

I am VERY PROUD of Punatics for reaching out in such a positive way. The island has truely welcomed these loving people. Today i received a couple phone calls from an individual parishoner and then the Catholic Church in Pahoa, who will be making the family the beneficiary of next weekend's rummage sale for school supplies for the three older boys. This is again such a warm gesture and a great help.

Mahalo and Aloha to you all.

Hey Pam. A great service and lots of Aloha you are providing for these folks. We will gather up some bags of toys and more bags of clothes our son Charles has out grown. I'll try to get them to you before we see you on Sunday. Maybe if we started exporting clothes, toys, and aid, instead of bombs, bullets and destruction to other parts of the world, we could all live in paradise. Couldn't help throwing that in. Aloha

We have received many very generous supplies of toys and clothes. Mom and the new baby are doing fine. Dad is ready to find work as mom is on her feet well now. They may have found a nice rental in Mt. View so keep your fingers crossed.

A GIANT mahalo to all of you who have offered and provided things for this family. I must ask:

WHO HAD THE NEWBORN CARSEAT DELIVERED TO ME TODAY? It arrived UPS....I was flabbergasted. You guys are great!

Aloha and Hugs..l. Pam

Just a note to let you know; any over abundance we receive of goods for the newborn and family.... we are taking to the Kea'au WIC office; they have a corner for trade and gather for new and/or needy mom's and kids.

Aloha all the way... thanks again. Pam

A GIANT MAHALO to the parishoners of the Catholic Church in Pahoa. They chose our little family as one to sponsor, giving over $200 in a gift certificate to Wal Mart for school supplies for the children. The community's warm welcome and generosity is just delightful. I am so proud to have made this my home.

Aloha! Pam
