Just as an aside...we went to get our Inspection done at Lex Brody's in Pahoa...very funny - they were out of stickers so couldn't do it LOL! We next went to "Bob's" one street north of Ainaloa...as it turns out our current sticker on the car is still good until January 07. We just giggled 'cause it's Hawaii and things are just a little different. )) Ya gotta love it!

Used to be in Puna, you were LUCKY if the car in front of you had a valid safety inspection.... how times change!

I had my Harley inspected at a downtown Hilo garage last year. The inspection consisted of the inspector saying nice bike and asking if everything worked. I answered yes, he filled out the paperwork, took my money, and sent me on my way.

As a public service, I would be willing to inspect Punaweb member vehicle lights, horns and wipers for only $14.95. No sticker, just helping to keep everyone safe.
