I am sure that you and your friends had iron clad contracts. He didn't have a chance to "ran out of money" and not finish the project.
It's my fault to put too much trust in your reference.
I am totally sincere in being grateful to you and made all efforts to leave you out of this.
I offered you to e-mail a copy of his offer which we submitted as a contract and you can see what is not done just by driving by my house. You chose not to get involved.
If you want to verify that I can not take a normal shower and and that my stove is sticking out 5 inches and I can not take the ice box out of the refrigerator because there's no space for the door to open properly you are welcome to check it yourself whether they are facts or "accusations".
All I have is 4 poles sticking out of the rail where the arbor is supposed to be -perfect illustration for "I am not going to finish because I ran out of money".
Do you want to see a brand new rusting sink too? (was that was the first day I saw the house). That's not all.
With you getting him clients and his family member working for you
I am sure your house is perfect.

Thank you,Angela.
I also want to apologize for my other post.Since a while ago I was posting about my unfinished project and John's reference came in (he started it himself )I though it would be good to clear your husband of any possible suspicions since there was no names mentioned.

Rusty,I'll post all the details in a new thread.I didn't want to say anything at all but when the facts are called accusations..
Anyway, let Angela have her thread without any further interference.
I 'll post later the outcome.

StillHOPE, Sorry to read about all of your problems. But it is my understanding that when you change order (ie updating and rearranging the original work plans) on an original plan it costs more money. It is your fault that you ran out of money,. Anyone who is a builder that has looked at your home will know it is very well built. As far as raingutters and catchment and well . You only had enough money in the original budget for your fancy well. You also spent so much money on fencing. Lady get real you cant have it all. and by the way you still own the bulider money for all the extra work he performed.
