This has come up before the first thing you need is a piece of land to put it where no one wil oppose it. and then to bug the county council for the money

Can we take Carey's list edited to just Puna, and anyone who heard the one near them just mark it (see ours below). Lets check first to make sure all the ones in Puna are working. Thanks Carey for the list!

A few of us have been working for the past 5 years to improve the disaster/emergency preparedness of HPP but have gotten minimal support. 10 people out 11,000. And no funding or donations for 2 years except for some equipment from civil defense

Hppoa owns a 20 acre lots 5th - 6th on the Makuu and on Kaloli those are the locations of the sirens

This is absolutely correct, and just one more indication of the prevalent apathy around here. I know some of the people making this effort, and they deserve more support.
