So when does a sub division throw up it's hands for being to costly and giving the land back to the city/county to maintain?

I would imagine 2.5 mil could pay for a lot of court costs!

One thing our subdivision did with its road dues, is make 2 tiers - one for non-commercial properties (owner occupied only even if only 2 weeks a year) and one for commercial which included any property rentals.
