Aloha lists a number of places that they cover, but I don't see the Kurtistown, Mountain View, Glenwood or Volcano areas in their coverage.

Telcom will install a DSL switch in your house if you agree to a business account. No shortage of ports then, but the cost is quite a bit higher.

As an FYI...you can get Oceanic cable internet without being connected to grid power. I know someone who is off-grid solar PV and they have Oceanic. When it was installed the technician allowed it, and only wanted to make sure it was grounded properly. YMMV.
