Hawaiian Acres Farmers market
#21
Mr not hung.....water always seeks its own level and you are the perfect example of why residents and HACA do not want you and your friends taking over in our community. You do not understand any type respect for others, community, authority and much less yourself Nathan.

what difference does it make who is calling the police on people that are not following the rules or the law, and all the name calling ,accusations , and threats will not help move the farmers market forward. instead the threats, nasty names and bulling only proves this is not a community oriented group , rather a hostile bunch of raging out of control people.
there were 3 reports made to the police on Saturday three different people called so there is a problem with what is going on . there is no "merriment" taking place only a handful of belligerent people attempting to do what they like, in a threatening manner.
property owners are tired of it. some of the market people do not even own property in the subdivision.
property owners do not want any drug activity in the subdivision we are all very fed up with the bulling .

mimosa stop it with the accusations. i have never seen 'open drug use' at the center, and unless you have more than a suspicious mind to back this up than please stop making the residents of this community out to be a load of ne'er-do-wells!!

Well, I'm not interested in hanging on some street corner, and I was not there on Saturday when the police were called... and I'm certainly not someone who is out of control or a bully. However, I am very interested in being a part of our community farmer's market and I don't appreciated the fact that people who are against it continue to group everyone who DOES want to participate into one corner as "thugs" or something of the like. It seems to me that the complainers are the name callers and bullies. And I have yet to see any actual recommendations or involvement from the complainers.

Amen Punachic and Birchl. We are not thugs we simply want to gather and sell or trade our goods. I will not apologize to Donkey lady Susan and yes, I do get heated under the collar when she continual vilifies our community with her hatred. If you do not like our market it is simple: do not attend! Let's try to fill our community with love and sharing.

i am not against a farmers market that has rules and follows them . there are regulations that have been set by the county planning department and they are not being followed , which is in violation of the permit. i am not in favor of any drug activity or the selling of it. both have occurred in the past .
there is a bullying process going on with the market people. the association has asked and stated that they can not have the market until insurance is in place ,and parking issues are set up as well as a manager . also the permits on the building MUST be taken care of. the building is in an expired status as well as the unpermitted bathroom and firehouse those are very important to resolve first. yet... market people will not respect that, and insist on setting up anyway thus violating the rules and the law creating this problem for the community police then have to be called to ask them to stop. if something happens , somebody gets hurt who will be responsible , the association . the association will have to pay out the donated money because there is no insurance to cover a farmers market.
also that is why the insurance was cancelled before there was no insurance for a farmers market , they kept having a farmers market without a permit not following the rules, and the county issued a cease and desist order, the insurance company was notified and they cancelled the liability policy . when a new policy was purchased the cost was increased due to the cancellation issue
i hope the group of marketeers gets it. ya can't do what you like . the year is 2014 there are rules , regulations and laws that must be followed its not just me. me. me all the time you have to have respect other people , ya have to follow rules

You know I think that anyone who likes should attend the farmers market this Saturday. It will be exiting. I will be the first call to the police. Eventually am pretty sure the police will become pretty sick and tired of having to shut it down and just start arresting people. None of you seem to understand that it is an unpermitted gathering and at this point unlawfull... and puts our entire community building in jepordy.
And birchl you need to back off. You don't know what you are talking about (ever).this market issue has been going on well into two years now and you have just poped up out a nowhere the last few months.
