I am amazed how people of such low information, ... would second-guess those who not only have infinitely-more information available to them
Would those people with infinitely more information by any chance be the same people who wrote the first Muslim Ban? Which was found unconstitutional by the courts? Hawaii was also a part of that filing, and as they won, it would seem they had more knowledge of the Constitution and the law than you give them credit for.
By your logic, only the "winners" should get federal funding, so after this next challenge I look forward to Hawaii and other states that join them receiving a big, big federal funding increase.

Lopaka, fear does not make for good international policy. There is almost zero "aggression against civilization" from anyone in our country, much less Muslims. As people have pointed out to you, sharks are more of a risk yet we don't go on culling sprees do we? No because that's not rational.
Rational thinking would require you to demonstrate how "The people of Puna" require defending from Muslims whom you claim are going to kill us if we don't convert. You can't, so don't claim you're the rational one.
I have Muslim relatives in our family and they are very accepting and loving people. I gladly have them as my neighbor.

Do not confuse "religion" with "spirituality", "politics", or "vendettas", and never forget that the Christians also had their crusades against nonbelievers.

If you oppose the attempts to protect America from Terror attacks, you do not deserve taxpayer-funded largesse.
Do you not understand the implications of "Convert or Die"? Do you even know what dhimmitude is? Do you not even know that in Islam, only the Martyr,s and those who Immigrate to take over other nations, in the name of Allah can go to paradise upon death, while everyone else must wait until the entire world is Islamic? Does your ignorance run so deep? Obviously, it does.
I have been involved in the war against terror even before 911, before DHS. You know nothing - absolutely nothing. Your "leaders" know nothing, absolutely nothing.
Humanity is up against the greatest threat to civilization ever, and has been for over 1,000 years. It is coming to a head in our time. It came to a head previously in 1095 and Urban II did what you seem not to have the courage, or brains, to do. You won't even recognize the threat, much less take action, or even let your betters take action. There will be a price paid for such "head-in-the-sand" inaction.

Lopaka, you're part of the problem, not the solution. You don't even know the basic facts. The people of Puna will not be any safer by banning Muslims.
The FBI released a study showing that 90% of all terrorist attacks in the USA are from non-muslims. http://www.globalresearch.ca/non-muslims...ca/5333619
quote: According to this data, there were more Jewish acts of terrorism within the United States than Islamic (7% vs 6%). These radical Jews committed acts of terrorism in the name of their religion. These were not terrorists who happened to be Jews; rather, they were extremist Jews who committed acts of terrorism based on their religious passions, just like Al-Qaeda and company.
Rationale is not on your side, just fear. You’re more likely to die from brain-eating parasites, alcoholism, obesity, medical errors, risky sexual behavior or just about anything other than terrorism.

I can think of several things the Hawaii Attorney General's office could do that would be more useful than fighting Trump's latest travel ban. Prosecuting corrupt officials, investigating crooked contractors, and looking into the rail fiasco come to mind. We know they won't do those things, however, so the AG will join this effort to make the voters thing they are looking out for us. Other states with more resources and more impact from the travel ban should lead the way, not little Hawaii. Having said all that, I do believe Trump is leading us in the wrong direction.

Chunkster, perhaps you feel fighting those things are more useful to you because you're not personally effected by such a sweeping federal order. Hawaii is probably disproportionately effected by the ban because the residents are the most diverse of any state and the state has been trying to expand the #1 industry of tourism in the Asian and African regions for several years now. In fact we just got a non-stop route from Malaysia starting this summer via Air Asia http://www.bizjournals.com/pacific/news/...awaii.html

I have to add this to the thread as it was stated that no one from the countries that have or may have a ban against them committed terrorists acts. That statement appears to be missing some events that have happened.

If you oppose the attempts to protect America from Terror attacks
I do not oppose attempts to protect America, Hawaii, or Puna from terror attracts.
I do oppose executive actions and laws that do nothing to prevent terror attacks, but effectively and unconstitutionally take rights away from citizens living in this country.
The actions of the Hawaii attorney general reflect this reality.

You have no idea what you opine about.
There are other sources of "terror" attacks to be sure, but the one enduring, dedicated source motivated by enduring religious zealotry is from Islam. Islam - terrorizing civilization since 600AD
Perhaps you haven't heard of 911, Kobar towers, USS Cole ad infinitum. Does "ISIS" ring a bell?
