Marijuana potency

It's legal for people to brew a certain amount of beer and wine, and probably the harder stuff as well so I guess if weed were ever legalized, some people would still grow their own. However, there are powerful laws regulating the distribution of "home brewed" alcohol. If you brew it for your own use, share some of it with friends, and remain within the legal production limits there wouldn't be a problem, however, if you go into business and sell it, you're depriving the government of revenue. Weed is easier to produce, but it's often grown under less than optimal conditions and with the aid of chemicals that may not be FDA approved. In addition, if legal, shops would be carrying safe, high-quality weed from all over the world and the difference would be comparable to walking into a liquor store to select what you want or going to the local grower and getting the equivalent of bathtub gin. Conversely, the "peaceful sky" initiave would be repealed, and the cops would have every legal right to track down those who would choose to grow for profit.

LeeE, I simply don't understand why people call politicians names. What can be worse than calling them "politicians", and you don't even need to put the word "phony" in front of it.

Yes, Centipede, it is really redundant when the word, "politician" says it all.

Still, after reading the days latest drug war horror story, it helps to blow off a little steam, so maybe there's some theraputic value there.

Done deal, LeeE. You don't EVEN want to know some of the words that go through my head when I get started thinking about "politicians".
