...you seriously consider packing paddles for the car when heading into Hilo for a day of errands.

I got 5+ inches in my mid HPP rain gauge between Saturday morning and this morning. I don't know how much plus because it is a 5 inch gauge and was full to the brim when I emptied it this morning.
