Tink - you are absolutely correct about oink. I don't mind sharing this (I suspect oink won't however he has no choice), but he is a very special and caring person. He has been so kind to my partner Pam during a time she was really suffering and we both can't express how grateful we are to him. Oink has made it clear he was in law enforcement and all I can say is that he does credit to the police and wish we had more people like him serving here.

I suspected as much on Oinks career. Worked with and know many peace officers from working together on crack house enforcement when in the Building Department (they worked on the people, I worked on the dwelling report). Always nice to have an even tempered, caring , but firm member on an enforcement team.

What happened to the good old-fashioned method of walking nextdoor and talking with your neighbors. Maybe ask for a heads-up on the burn day so that you may go to the beach or something? Or maybe on a day when you have kona winds so that it doesnt blow your way? I guess only way that wouldn't work is if you had a non-negotiable neighbor like justthefax/toobad4u.
