This.

Also, no amount of counselling will undo the damage to society.

That was then, an unfortunate consequence of dealing with a deadly pandemic.  Every society on earth has suffered from it.  The fortunate ones are those who have had little to worry or complain about except the restrictions.

This is now, time to move on.  People are resilient, especially kids.

They need to start taking people's mental health seriously..

[...] All things considered I give it a month, six weeks, before the next surge comes rolling through.

Just a tip - you could have said that without all the other blather.

Actually, I doubt, with you, it matters what I say, or how I say it, as long as you can use your response to demonstrate how superior you are to everyone here. And omg, look at you! A god among savages.

I think you should stop mask debating.

It’s obvious to me now that for a certain section of the population political allegiances is more important then improving scientific understanding so we can learn for the future. These people will refuse to change right till they die. The politicians having had a taste of unlimited power and money will always threaten and jump at any emergency to get it back. Hawaii as a state and Punaweb as a forum has an unusually high percentage of these types who can never let go of something no matter how bad and will always push for more power and control over others. It’s unfortunate because as is obvious in the world today it’s these very lies that threaten the freedoms and prosperity we once had. Fear, ignorance and unlimited power reigns supreme under the guise of righteousness and the “greater good”. Good always triumphs in the end but the path there will be literal hell.

Truth is treason in the empire of lies

One could easily write this off as drama and lies, but this thread proves it by your own actions. You permit pages of useless drivel, speculation and opinions. The best we get from some posters here is a crappy news headline from second rate purveyors of someone else’s ideas, the journalistic equivalent of a used car salesmen. Yet I have posted numerous first party sources and actual studies, most peer reviewed, from well respected institutions and they are immediately deleted in minutes before anyone can even see them under the guise of “keep it Hawaii” or should I say “the greater good” yes this forum is meaningless, convincing a bunch of old white haoles accomplishes nothing, but the truth is the truth and you choose to ignore it. Ignorance reigns supreme
