I've never had a problem seeing motorcyles, bikes and pedestrians. Probably because I've spent so much time being one of them. What fishenjim says about cars when you are on a motorcycle is very true. I've said the exact same thing about them for over 30 years - they are *trying* to kill you!

And Bullwinkle: I'm in the opposite situation. I'm the guy my friends with trucks always call to help them move big things. When my friend Paul was moving I remember carrying a fridge down some narrow steps to a landing and then 90 degree turn and more steps. When we hit the landing, there was no room for me *and* the fridge so it basically sat on one shoulder and across my chest while I tried to get it turned around to go down the next set of stairs. Another friend had carrying straps around it from the steps above the landing and could get about 30% of the weight.
