Meanwhile, people keep buying lots and building homes...

It's not hard to imagine what the HPP traffic lineup will be like in the not so distant future to get onto the highway during peak traffic AM. Someone told me at the meeting yesterday that HPP's population has surpassed Hilo. Living near the top will be the most desired place to live.

Add to it emergency situations...
