Today is the Hawaii caucus 6 PM, anyone can vote!

afwjam,
I don't pretend to know much about this political bs because I only started paying attention when Bush was re-elected although I know of no one in my circle who voted for him; then finding out that his failed policies were continued and even expanded under the current Obama administration. There was no change that we were promised. Republican, Democrat, they're all the same. Only the issues are important and this is why Dr. Ron Paul stands heads above them all. He has spoken truth for the last 40 years and always voted according to the Constitution. This effectively removes the ego.

It's confusing why the electoral college is different in different States and I'm beginning to understand the difference between the rule of law and mob rule. If we don't understand this basic tenet, we fall victim to the lies and suffer the consequences. It is through young, free-thinking people like you that I have some hope for the future. Mahalo for all you do to educate the masses.

"From the day when the first members of councils placed exterior authority higher than interior, that is to say, recognized the decisions of men united in councils as more important and more sacred than reason and conscience; on that day began lies that caused the loss of millions of human beings and which continue their unhappy work to the present day."

When someone says many dumb things repeatedly then I consider them to be stupid. It doesn't matter what religion, color, height, weight, party or star sign they are.

The Amero and the NAFTA Superhighway are enough, but there are and no doubt will be many more. He should put all this in a newsletter instead so he deny later that he wrote it or even read it.

Oops, I see now that Ron Paul thinks (or thought) the Amero is real too. Sorry about that.

Rand Paul also thinks it's unAmerican to blame BP for their oil spill, and he also said (and then later retracted) that he would've voted against Civil Rights in the 1960s. And that he's fine with racial discrimination. Chip off the old block.

Ron Paul has consistently voted and acted strictly according to the Constitution and spoke of liberty and peace for the last 40 years, when Rand was just a boy. He has not wavered in fighting for the people, not the good ol'boy corporations for all these decades. Thus, it's pure speculation intended to distort the issues. This is NOT about Rand.

Puna Politics & Hawaii Elections 2012
This forum is for discussion of politics relating to Puna on a county, state and federal level. This is not a forum to discuss national or world politics unless very directly related to life here in Hawaii.

appears to me the purpose of this forum is no longer applicable for this thread and has ended up being a personal political sounding board and is even off subject of "Today is the Hawaii caucus 6 PM, anyone can vote!"

Maybe this headline from today's news will end it but I somehow doubt that will happen.

Ron Paul all but ends presidential campaign

The Hawaii State GOP convention was this past weekend in Honolulu and Ron Paul was awarded delegates for winning Hawaii and Maui. Ron Paul did not drop out or end his campaign, he said he will not spend money on campaigning in future primary straw polls. His money is better spent at state conventions where he is actually wining the delegates, he is guaranteed to be on the ballot in Tampa so he is not going anywhere.

This is Hawaii-related, I'm still trying to find out what President Paul's policy will be towards this state but nobody seems to know.

After failing to win a single state (in votes, that is), Ron Paul has finally faced reality.
