Someone flying a drone at Kaloli Pt.

Rc clubs have areas they fly in. Why not quadcopters. On the other hand if they stayed below the tree line (where applicable ) on their own property, there wouldn't be as many privacy issues.

But what about enforcement?

You mean like with the helicopters?

Oh hpp........... grew up here. Kids riding quads and motorcycles up and down roads without any problems, enjoying freedom. Fishing up and down the coastline.

Hpp needs to be converted into a gated retirement community restricted to anyone below the age of 55. Anything kids do down here gets complained about. Drones now? Oh ok........

Just a couple of months ago on 10th st a group of kids ranging from 8-12 years of age had rocks thrown at them because they where riding bikes back and forth causing people's dogs bark. Heard that from a officer friend of mine. Parents called the cops on the 68 year old man who's privacy was being invaded and his dog being stressed out............. lmao lock the bikes up now too!

This would certainly fix their "roads problem"...

I usually agree with your moderating

I look at Punaweb as Rob's house. He invites everyone over for a party, and on the front door are posted a few simple requests for our behavior as guests.

Some of us bring a six pack or a bag of chips, which Rob appreciates, but it's still his home hosting the party. Most of us enjoy the camaraderie, but there's always someone who will throw a steak bone down his garbage disposal, or try and play pay per view channels on his TV, even clog up the toilet. But he's a gracious host and generally takes it in stride.

Then, there's one or two who start a fire in the kitchen trash can, try to watch porn on his laptop, or take to reenacting the exact method The Who (or was it Led Zeppelin?) implemented in tossing TV sets out hotel room windows back in the '60's. He's gotta draw the line somewhere. And most of those times almost everyone else is glad he does.

Bottom line, it's Rob's house. Thanks for inviting us in today Rob.

It's been 2 days since anyone has posted on this thread, so I don't think I'm hijacking it. I can't let this go.

HOTPE, you have pointed your metaphor directly at Slow Walker and me, labeling us as disrespectful house trashers. I have always tried to be respectful of this forum and the people on it. I disagreed with Rob's moderating decision this one time, but I did so respectfully, even said so in the moment. Slow Walker simply bowed out, respectfully. So why are you attacking us?

Y'all really need to develop thicker skins and be willing to feel somewhat insulted or mistaken from time to time.

Assume the best and ask questions.

So why are you attacking us?

I apologize if you took it that way. I was using hyperbole to provide an example and make a point. It wasn't meant to be taken literally, or personally, and certainly not directed at your specific comments:

Hyperbole is an extreme, extravagant, and impossible exaggeration

Doing an excellent job, too, and providing an example for others' aspiration.

I wouldn't have taken it personally if you hadn't used my quote to preface your metaphor. I'm sure you understand. I appreciate the apology. That's all I was really looking for.
