You guys did a great job and it is so nice of you to put the slide show on youtube. I should have said that I would have prefered the top of the pond to have been built so as to conceal the concrete, rather than saying it wasn't well done at the top. Sorry.

I wonder if you are correct about why the plastic is placed under the concrete. Cinder is not going to stick to the rebar like clay, so I don't think it keeps the rebar significantly cleaner. As for dryness, I don't think that there would have been any problem with dryness on the underside of your concrete. Not to say that the plastic doesn't serve some function, I am just not convinced that is its purpose. How much did that pond cost by the way?
